Synergy Yoga Retreat in Tuscany

Escape to La Gualda Vecchia, a gem in the hills of Tuscany, for a retreat designed to slow you down, reconnect with your creativity, and realign you with your body, vision, and purpose. Through daily Yoga Synergy practice, hands-on creative workshops, and mindful moments in nature, Root & Flow invites you to move, express, and rediscover your inner clarity.

Each morning, we’ll flow through Yoga Synergy to awaken the body and soften the mind. Later, we’ll gather to create with our hands: journaling, painting, myo body butter, or drawing.. Unlocking ideas and insights that connect you with your deeper goals.

The calendar from the 2025 retreat

8:00-10:00 - Synergy session to awaken the body.

10:30 - 12:00 - Nourishing breakfast with fresh local ingredients (often from the garden!).

12:00 - 14:00 - Free time

14:30 - 18:00 - Workshops / Excursions.

19:00 / 19:30 - Community dinner, our group gathers together for the last meal of the day.

21:00 - The evenings were dedicated to long dinners & chats or Soft activities in the yurt.

THE LOCATION

Podere la Gualda Vecchia is a charming countryside villa with a garden spa, a sensory garden, cozy rooms and breathtaking views.

Imagine waking up to the soft sounds of nature, watching the sunrise while sipping your coffee or tea. Imagine practicing enjoying warm Tuscan sun on your skin, or in the forest and dining under the stars with fresh local food.

This location only allows for small groups, which creates an intimate feeling right from the start.

INVESTMENT

Leccio: apartment with a double bed, kitchen, bathroom, possibility to have 2 extra persons on sofa-bed. Ideal if you come with a friend or partner and want to have exclusive use of the apartment.

I created Root & Flow because I believe in the magic of slowing down. In a world that moves fast, this retreat is a space to breathe, & reconnect: with yourself, your body, and your creative essence. My goal is to guide you back to your vision and your purpose. I can’t wait to share this experience with you!

ACCOMODATION

At La Gualda Vecchia all spaces, every material, are chosen with respect and awareness. The fabrics in the apartments are made in Tuscany, exclusively in cotton and linen, delicately scented with essential oils. Each element is meant to be lived, not consumed, offering comfort that is both tactile and meaningful.


Here, care is a daily practice that permeates every choice, even the most invisible ones. In our apartments, we welcome genuine, living materials, stone and wood, avoiding mass-produced elements whenever possible.

Here, sustainability is a complete circle: from the self-production of natural detergents to the use of solar panels; from the restoration and reuse of existing objects to the conscious choice not to support unnecessarily long supply chains.

There are two apartments:

Leccio: 1 bedroom with 1 double bed that can be split into 2 singles, 1 bathroom, kitchen/living room with 2 single sofa beds.

Can be booked for 2 people for exclusive use, or 3 to 4 people to share.

Quercia: 2 bedrooms (each with one bathroom + double bed that can be split into 2 singles), kitchen/living room, 1 double bed sofa.

Each of the two rooms can be booked for 2 people.

Booking one double-room for single use is not adviced.

FOOD

Vegetarian Meals

Our vegetarian cuisine is part of the experience of care. Brunches and dinners are prepared with seasonal, organic, and local ingredients, often harvested directly from the garden, full of prana.

Fruits and herbal teas are always available, and nourishment is conceived as a gentle ritual for body and soul.

We suggest a daily rhythm that supports balance and presence:

Early morning: warm coffee, milk, tea, and herbal infusions, with biscuits, fresh and dried fruit, and nuts;

Late morning brunch: a generous spread of sweet and savory dishes;

Afternoon: infusions, juices, fresh and dried fruit, and homemade biscuits;

Early dinner: a light, seasonal meal followed by dessert;

We will also have a pizza night, prepared in our ancient outdoor wood-fired oven, with kombucha or artisanal beers.

Likewise, we believe in a virtuous cycle that also includes people: those who work with us are recognized, paid, and treated ethically, because well-being cannot exist if it is not shared.

THE YURT

An authentic 50m² Mongolian yurt, a protected and sacred space immersed in the woods.

Wooden floor, heater for chill morning practices,

birds chirping outside the doors.

The Yurt is equipped with a complete eco-friendly

yoga set by ReYoga: mat, blocks, belt, and blanket.

Everything is chosen to support comfort, alignment, and a respectful relationship with the Earth.

A dry, eco-friendly toilet is located nearby, thoughtfully designed to be completely odorless.

OUTDOOR SPA AND WELLNESS EXPERIENCE

Heated hot tub and barrel sauna with organic essential
oils, cold aromatized showers overlooking the hills, surrounded by flowers and rosemary bushes.

Your experience includes: bathrobes, wool hats (we'll have a laugh!), sauna seat covers, towels and an aperitivo with wine and organic snacks.

It is truly one of the highlights of the retreat!

- 5 days - 4 nights accommodation in a shared room or twin apartment in a newly-renovated Tuscan villa.
